This new necklace design came to me as I was looking at a pile of discarded punched-out disks and soldered rings. I annealed a few of the disks and elongated them into ovals while they were soft, then connected them with a small soldered ring of shiny fine silver. Thus the Embrace was born; it floats on the chain so that the wearer can choose which circle to place the chain: the larger one; the middle-sized one; or the smallest. Each choice gives a different look.  I’ve also created them in several different scales. In addition to being versatile, this design also helps use up leftover metal, which I’m all about.
